COOKIES POLICY

Last updated: 17.07.2026

This Cookies Policy explains how Path Düsseldorf GmbH uses cookies and similar technologies on its website.
It should be read together with our Data Privacy Policy.
The use of cookies and similar technologies is governed, in particular, by the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR” / “DSGVO”) and the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (Telekommunikation-Digitale-Dienste-Datenschutz-Gesetz – “TDDDG”).

1. Controller

The controller responsible for the use of cookies and related processing of personal data is:
Path Düsseldorf GmbH
Geschäftsführer: K. Hakan Hasserbetci
c/o 360 Workspace
Gerresheimer Straße 86
40233 Düsseldorf
Germany
Email: support@pathdusseldorf.com

2. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that may be stored on a user’s device when a website is accessed.
Cookies can perform different functions. Some cookies are necessary for the website to operate. Other cookies may be used to analyse website visits, measure performance, remember preferences or support advertising and marketing activities.
Path Düsseldorf GmbH currently uses:
strictly necessary cookies; and
analytics and performance cookies.
We do not currently use functional, marketing, advertising or targeting cookies.

3. Strictly Necessary Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies support the core technical operation of the website. They maintain the visitor’s session state across page requests and enable the website to function correctly.
These cookies are activated when the website is accessed because they are required for the provision of the website.

Session cookies are generally deleted when the visitor closes the browser. The precise behaviour may depend on the browser and device settings.
The storage of or access to these cookies is based on § 25(2)(2) TDDDG, because they are necessary to provide the website requested by the visitor.
Where the operation of these cookies involves the processing of personal data, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the functional, secure and stable operation of the website.
Under § 25 TDDDG, consent is generally required before information is stored on or accessed from a user’s terminal equipment, unless a statutory exception applies, including where the technology is strictly necessary to provide a digital service expressly requested by the user.

4. Analytics and Performance Cookies

With the visitor’s consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our website and to measure and improve website performance.
Google Analytics may help us understand matters such as:
how many visits the website receives;
which website pages are accessed;
how visitors navigate through the website;
the approximate duration of sessions;
general visitor engagement; and
technical or usability issues affecting website performance.
The following analytics cookies are currently used:

Google explains that Google Analytics uses the _ga cookie to distinguish users and sessions and uses a property-specific _ga_... cookie to maintain session-related information.
Google Analytics cookies are not technically necessary. They remain disabled unless and until the visitor actively consents to their use.
The applicable legal bases are:
§ 25(1) TDDDG for storing information on or accessing information from the visitor’s device; and
Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR for the related processing of personal data.
The cookie durations may vary depending on the Google Analytics configuration, browser restrictions, the visitor’s consent choices and whether the visitor deletes cookies manually.
Further information about Google Analytics processing, recipients, data categories and international data transfers is provided in our Data Privacy Policy.

5. Cookie Consent and Preferences

When visitors first access the website, they are provided with a cookie consent mechanism.
The mechanism allows visitors to:
Accept All cookies;
Reject Non-Essential cookies; or
Manage Settings.
Analytics cookies are disabled by default and are not activated unless the visitor actively provides consent.
Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled through the consent mechanism because they are required for the website’s core operation.
Consent is voluntary. Refusing analytics cookies does not prevent visitors from using the essential functions of the website.

6. Withdrawal or Modification of Consent

Visitors may withdraw or change their analytics consent at any time through the permanent Cookie Settings link available in the website footer.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before consent was withdrawn.
After consent is withdrawn:
Google Analytics will not be activated for future website use unless consent is given again; and
visitors may delete previously stored Google Analytics cookies through their browser settings.
Article 7(3) GDPR provides that consent may be withdrawn at any time and that withdrawing consent must be as easy as giving it.

7. Microsoft Bookings and LinkedIn Links

Our website contains ordinary external links to:
Microsoft Personal Bookings, through the “Book With Me” button; and
LinkedIn, through the LinkedIn icon or other LinkedIn links.
These third-party services are not embedded into the Path Düsseldorf website as booking widgets, social-media plugins, tracking pixels or similar embedded technologies.
No Microsoft Bookings or LinkedIn cookies are placed on a visitor’s device merely because the visitor accesses the Path Düsseldorf website.
When a visitor actively clicks one of these external links:
the visitor leaves the Path Düsseldorf website;
the visitor is redirected to the relevant Microsoft or LinkedIn website; and
the relevant third-party provider may use its own cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy and cookie policies.
Path Düsseldorf GmbH does not control cookies placed directly by independent third-party websites after a visitor leaves the Path Düsseldorf website.
Microsoft states that Personal Bookings is a feature of Outlook powered by Microsoft Bookings. LinkedIn’s processing after a user accesses LinkedIn is governed by LinkedIn’s own Privacy Policy and, for European users, its European Regional Privacy Notice.
Further information concerning appointment booking through Microsoft Personal Bookings is provided in our Data Privacy Policy.

8. Browser Settings

Most internet browsers allow users to:
view stored cookies;
delete individual or all cookies;
block cookies from particular websites;
block all cookies; or
receive a notification before a cookie is stored.
Blocking or deleting strictly necessary cookies may affect the proper operation of parts of the website.
Deleting Google Analytics cookies may remove identifiers previously stored on the visitor’s device. New analytics cookies will not be placed unless the visitor subsequently provides consent again.

9. Changes to This Cookies Policy

We may update this Cookies Policy where necessary to reflect:
changes to the website;
changes to cookies or similar technologies;
changes to service providers;
changes to our consent-management mechanism; or
legal or regulatory developments.
The date of the most recent revision is stated at the beginning of this policy.
